About Department
The Department of Psychology was established during in the academic year 2009- 2010 in Yogi Vemana University. At present the department has two faculty members and three Academic Consultants from different research fields like adulthood and aging, organizational behaviour and Educational Psychology as their thirst areas.
The M.Sc., Psychology course is a full-time course covering important applied papers like Psychological Assessment, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Organizational Behaviour and Health Psychology.
Vision
- To help the students to develop a deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of the human personality
- To facilitate a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour, and keep abreast of the changing dynamics in the field of psychology.
Mission
- The mission of the department is to achieve excellence in higher education in Psychology and to provide opportunities that mould students to be competent, ethical, and empathetic professionals committed to the science of Psychology.
